    We're so excited to welcome you to the Carta Financial Reporting Community! My name is Brent Devey and I'm Carta's Community Manager. I've worked in community, social, and support for Carta, Purple, and JetBlue for the past 10+ years. I hope that this will be a meaningful and helpful community for you as you grow in your role.

    My goal is to make this space as helpful and meaningful as possible, to offer up relevant content, and help you understand how you can best use Carta and our financial reporting tool. Feel free to ask questions and share your challenges and wins. We have Carta support plugged into this channel to help out with any support that you may need.

    Hi Brent! I'll go ahead and introduce myself.

    My name is Matt and I'm currently the Senior Manager of Accounting at Whatnot Inc. We're a rapidly growing social commerce platform focusing on live-stream auctions - think eBay + Twitch. You can find anything from collectibles to fashion and electronics to art being sold on Whatnot. I've also spent time in public accounting and accounting consulting over the past 7 years.

    I've been using Carta on and off throughout my career but am by no means an expert, so I'm looking forward to being a part of this community.
