    We are working to upload an ESOP plan. We already have everything in place, BUT we need to import the Excel template.

    I have a couple of questions: "Document set Required Fill in with the name of an existing document set (case sensitive)" This document set needs to be signed before or if signed by the person after the import? "Board approval date Grant date Required, if board approval status is yes Example: 1/1/11 Required, if board approval status is yes Example: 1/1/11" Can I put a Grant date that's previous to the Board approval date? If you need more information, please let me know

    The document set does not require the holder's signature. Please make sure the documents are either blank or show "As described on Carta." It would mostly contain general language with the details of the stock options. You can refer to this support article for more clarity. Also, the issue date cannot be before the board approval date as per compliance.
