Prompt of the Week: Combine three Carta reports into one

Pulling two or three Carta reports and splicing them together in a spreadsheet is one of the most common admin tasks. In our recent Cap Table Plugin Learning Lab, Claude did it in a few minutes instead of 45 minutes to 2 hours.

This week's prompt

Replace [Company name] with your company, then paste this into Claude:

Use the Carta reporting skill to create a searchable report for [Company name] that includes all grant information, vesting details, historical terminations, and canceled and returned securities. Package it as one artifact with a separate tab for each. Cite the Carta report each figure came from.

What to expect

Claude will ask a few clarifying questions, then build a live page with one tab per report. You can remove columns (for example, issue date) before exporting to Excel or Google Sheets.

Tip

Ask for a report, not a single answer. The artifact refreshes each time you open it, so you do not have to rebuild it next quarter.
