I'm getting a warning that we overdrew our option plan. However, the amendment of the plan size should have been retroactively effective to April 1 (not April 5, the signing date). How can I update the increase in our size back to the April 1 date instead of April 5 in the Carta system?

In this case, you can go to Capitalization > Equity Plans > Find the 2021 Equity Incentive Plan listed on this page > Click on the three vertical dots located on the far right side > Amend plan size. A pop-up will open with the amendments executed by the company. If you click on Edit, you will be able to adjust the date accordingly.
