I have a solution that would work for you - our manual exercise tool also allows for reflecting cashless hold exercises. You can access this by going to Securities >> Equity Awards >> Search for the employee >> Click the three dots on the far-right of the award you want to start with >> Off System Transaction >> Select Cashless Hold from the drop-down menu.

From this page you can enter the details of the transaction, based on the information entered the platform will give you total taxes due for the exercise, you can also add additional taxes if that is required. You can use this page to notify the exerciser the amount due before recording it in Carta - once you have the funds from the exerciser you can renter the information then submit it to be recorded. Please be advised this will not result in shares being moved - you will still need to coordinate with your TA to do that.
