On Total Comp, companies can select which equity share price to use from the following options: Last Preferred Price, Fair Market Value, or Custom Price.
- Last Preferred Price uses the company's most recent preferred price as shown in your Cap Table. This is the amount investors paid per share in the last round of financing and takes into account convertibles.
- Fair Market Value pulls the latest FMV entered on your Cap Table page.
- Custom Price allows the company to set a price as needed.

Does that factor in the ISO strike price? Also, are outstanding convertible notes taken into account? Thank you.

The equity value in Total Comp is calculated based on the "Equity share price" that is set by the company under Settings > General > Equity settings.
The total value will be the amount of options multiplied by the price per share.

I've had an employee reach out asking about the value of her equity. Can you please help me understand how is the equity value calculated in Total Comp?
