When we modify or cancel a share certificate, do notices to shareholders go out immediately, or at some pre-set time?
For our client, we are going to cancel a share conversion to do some cap table cleanup, then re-do the conversion. I canceled the post-conversion certificates.
I jumped the gun and shouldn't have canceled the certificates. So I reversed the cancellation. Will the holders receive notice of either action, given that the cancellation and reversal were within 30 minutes and the net effect is null?
If they'll receive notices regardless, is there anything you can do to make sure notices don't go out?
