One of the best ways I've found Carta helpful when fundraising is the scenario modeling tool. They also have a free convertible security calculator for those without a paid plan. I appreciated Carta's transparency in sharing how they raised their Series A. Lastly here is a blog with some helpful material on how Carta helps with fundraising.
After you've closed the round, you will be able to issue new securities and/or SAFEs . Funds for SAFE financing can be wire via Carta. Under the Fundraise Tab, Carta helps you manage and view your financing history and SAFEs financing.
Finally, with the new round closed, you can request a new 409a to refresh your valuation.
