Basically, I want to involve a select group of individuals in my company with a modest stake.
My lawyer advises opting for a vesting advisor agreement, however they prefer to invest through SAFEs with very small allocations (e.g., $1k).
Our interactions are pretty standard: facilitating network introductions, exchanging valuable insights, and so forth. These engagements aren't overly time-consuming, which makes the case for considering them as advisors.
