I'm getting a warning that we overdrew our option plan. However, the amendment of the plan size should have been retroactively effective to February 1 (not February 5, the signing date). How can I update the increase in our size back to the February 1 date instead of February 5 in the Carta system?

Great question! If you need to update the date for your equity incentive plan, you can easily do so by following these steps:

1. Navigate to Securities > Equity plans in your account
2. Locate the 2023 Equity Incentive Plan from the list
3. On the far right side, click the three vertical dots to open more options
4. Select Edit / Amend plan from the dropdown menu
5. A pop-up window will appear, showing any amendments that have been made by the company
6. Click Edit, and you'll be able to adjust the date accordingly
