Your name now stays in sync across your account and portfolio

Keeping your name consistent on Carta just got easier. If you update your display name in account settings, your personal portfolio name now updates automatically to match with no extra steps needed. It also works the other way: updating your portfolio name will sync back to your account name.

Key details:

• Works automatically for individual investors with a single personal portfolio they own outright

• No action needed -- the sync happens in the background whenever you make a name change

• Updating either your account name or your portfolio name keeps both in sync

This applies to individual accounts only. If you have a trust, joint ownership, or multiple portfolios, name changes work the same as before.
