Issue equity with a prompt: the Carta issuance skill for Claude

Issuing equity just got a lot faster. The new issuance skill for Claude lets you issue option grants and certificates by describing what you want in plain language, and Claude handles the rest.

What's new

The /carta-issuance skill is now available in Carta Cap Table plugin version 6.41.1 and newer. Write a prompt describing who's getting what, and Claude builds the draft for you, pulling vesting schedules, exercise price, and board approval directly from your company's own data. If a stakeholder doesn't exist yet, it creates them. It also supports batch issuance and can look up employees by name when you're working through a large grant list.

Try prompts like:

"Issue 1,000 ISOs to Jane Smith"
"Issue 500 options to these employees" (with an attached screenshot, board consent, or spreadsheet)
"Draft 50 certificates for the seed round investors"

The same defaults and validation used in the Carta UI apply here, so the drafts you get are ready to review and send.
