Benchmark Data Now Available Through the Carta MCP

Starting today, Carta Total Compensation benchmark data is accessible directly through Claude — no need to navigate the CTC product separately.

What's new

Two new skills are now available to customers using the Carta MCP via the carta-cap-table plugin:

• Benchmark Lookup — Query market salary, equity, and total cash for any role, with geographic adjustment applied automatically.

• Role Matcher — Paste a job description or title and get it classified into the CTC taxonomy (job area, focus, level, and track) instantly.

• Benchmark Export — Pull a full benchmark report to CSV directly from Claude.

Who this is for

Carta customers using Claude Desktop with the Carta MCP connected and an active CTC subscription. If you don't have a CTC subscription, you'll see an upsell page when these skills are triggered.

• "What's the market salary for a Senior 1 engineer in San Francisco?"

• "Put all sales benchmarks for [company] in a CSV."

• "What CTC level does this job description map to?"
