• Session kickoff — Brent welcomed attendees and introduced this as part 3 of a 4-part series, with speakers Brianne Villamor and Ricardo Ayres.

• Share classes & equity incentive plans — Brianne walked through updating share classes, amending EIPs, and using security templates for a sample Series B raise.

• User permissions & signatories — Covered setting up full-access users vs. company editors and configuring proper signatories for certificate issuance.

• EIP amendments — Showed adding plan amendments, reserving new shares, and uploading plan documents with vesting/security templates.

• Carta's new document system — Demonstrated auto-populating award paperwork and connecting Carta with the Claude plugin for automated issuance.

• Bulk stakeholder entry & board approvals — Covered the spreadsheet UI for bulk data entry and board approval workflows for option grants.

• Vesting, early exercise & ISO/NSO — Walked through building vesting schedules, early exercise, ISO/NSO splits, 100K rule compliance, and noted RSA cancellations should go through legal.
