How long does vendor payment take after an expense is approved?

Once I approve an expense in Carta, how long before the vendor actually receives payment? We have an invoice that's due in 5 business days and I want to make sure I'm not going to miss the deadline. Also, does Carta send the vendor a confirmation when the wire goes out?
