If an option is "awaiting officer signature", can the recipient see it in Carta?

If options have been uploaded to Carta but they are marked in orange as “awaiting officer signature”, can the recipient see that the recipient has the options? If yes, if I cancel the options, will the recipient get an email about the cancellation? Thanks.
