Accelerate share vesting

I have an employee who left the company with about 23,000 shares vested. As part of the separation, it was agreed that they would depart with a total of 30,000 shares. What steps do I have to take in Carta to accelerate the vesting so that the additional 7,000 shares are available to the employee?
