Grants issued in a given time period
What I did: Ran a compensation audit covering all equity granted in a calendar year, including the 409A FMV at the time of each grant.
The prompt I used:
Show all equity grants issued at [Company Name] between [start date] and [end date], sorted by grant date. Include the grantee name, grant type, shares granted, and 409A FMV at grant date.
How it works: Filters the grant ledger to the specified date range and pulls the 409A FMV that was in effect at each grant date — not just the current FMV. That’s the critical detail for confirming grants were made at fair market value, which is what auditors and the IRS look for.
Result: A date-filtered grant ledger with FMV included — exactly what’s needed for a board consent review or SOX test.
