All option grants by type (ISO vs. NSO)

What I did: Our accountant needed a breakdown of ISO vs. NSO grants ahead of year-end. Usually this means exporting a report and filtering manually.

The prompt I used:

List all outstanding option grants for [Company Name], grouped by type (ISO vs. NSO). For each grant, show the holder name, grant date, quantity, exercise price, and expiration date.

How it works: Pulls from the option grant ledger and groups by grant type automatically. ISO vs. NSO classification matters for both the company’s tax deduction and the employee’s tax treatment at exercise — having them cleanly separated is useful for year-end planning, audits, and board consents.

Result: A clean, organized grant list grouped by type and ready to hand to the accountant. No manual export or sorting required.
